Anti-Ox-Komplex

Safety for your cells. Burgerstein Anti-Ox Complex offers a unique combination of fat- and water-soluble antioxidants that help protect against oxidative stress at various cellular levels. Anti-Ox Complex includes: Vitamins: B1, B2, B3, B6, C and E (tocotrienols). Trace elements: Manganese, Molybdenum, Selenium and Zinc. In addition, the formulation contains astaxanthin, L-cysteine and a patented vegetable and fruit extract (Spectra®). Spectra® is an all-natural, scientifically proven blend of fruits, vegetables and herbs that has been shown to reduce free radical formation, optimize cellular metabolic activity and increase nitric oxide levels in the human body. Astaxanthin comes from the blood rain algae (microalgae) Haematococcus pluvialis. Free radicals are produced mainly in the mitochondria, the energy centers of the cell. During the energy generation process, between 3 and 10% of the oxygen used is not completely converted to water. This creates oxygen radicals, most of which are neutralized by enzymes. Nevertheless, some of these free radicals reach the inside of the cell, where they can promote the formation of further new radicals.
