Magnesium is an important component of metabolism and fulfills numerous functions in the body. Burgerstein MagnesiumVital contains a unique combination of easily utilizable organic magnesium compounds, namely magnesium citrate and magnesium bisglycinate. These ensure optimal absorption and utilization of magnesium in the body.
About 60% of the total magnesium present in the body is found in the bones, while just under 30% is found in connective tissue, especially in the liver and muscles. Magnesium is always present where calcium is also needed and protects against calcium overload within the cells.
