Burgerstein Vitamin K2 capsules offer you first-class, pure vitamin K2, which is optimally absorbed by the body (all-trans menaquinone-7). Vitamin K supports the maintenance of healthy bones.

Vitamin K2 plays a critical role in activating osteocalcin and MGP (matrix GLA protein), which are responsible for transporting calcium to the bones and storing it where it is needed. In this process, vitamin K2 acts in synergy with vitamin D, which promotes the formation of osteocalcin and MGP. At the same time, calcifications in blood vessels and other tissues are prevented or dissolved. Vitamin K2 also has a variety of other capabilities beyond its bone-building function.

Since the storage capacity for vitamin K2 in the body is limited and natural vitamin K2 has a half-life of 3 days, a daily supply is recommended, especially since the metabolic rate is very high.
