Burgerstein Vitamin B12 Boost supports the normal function of the nervous system and helps reduce fatigue. It is highly concentrated and particularly useful during intense mental and physical stress, as well as in a vegan diet, since vitamin B12 is mainly found in animal products.
For vegans, vitamin B12 is considered a "critical nutrient" because it is found almost exclusively in animal products. Therefore, vegans should continuously supplement this vitamin. There is no fear of overdosing, as excess vitamin B12 is excreted by the body.
Methylcobalamin is one of the two bioactive coenzyme forms of vitamin B12 that our organism actually needs. Only methylcobalamin and adenosylcobalamin can have an immediate health-promoting effect - all other forms of vitamin B12 must first be converted by the body into methylcobalamin or adenosylcobalamin in order to be active as coenzymes in the organism.
Working closely with folic acid, it supports blood, nerve and DNA health. In addition, it is optimally suited for consumption by vegans and vegetarians.
