Burgerstein EPO evening primrose oil is a high-quality dietary supplement consisting of pure evening primrose oil and vitamin E. The fatty acids contained are essential for the body and can help to care for dry skin and regulate elevated blood lipid levels. The contained vitamin E additionally protects against free radicals. EPO stands for "Evening Primrose Oil" and refers to the oil extracted from the seeds of the evening primrose, which is rich in unsaturated fatty acids and omega-6 fatty acids that benefit sensitive skin. Since the body cannot produce omega-6 fatty acids on its own, it is important to get them from the diet.

The body integrates omega-6 fatty acids into the skin, where they are likely to support the protective function and help reduce moisture loss.
